Dear Pre-Paid Legal Services,

My husband and I would like to thank your company and Attorney Rosen for the services that were offered and provided us recently.

A few months ago we purchased a new home. When we received the pay off demand statement, it stated that we would have a $4300.00 pre-payment penalty on our loan. I tried to recover the money from the mortgage company but was repeatedly denied. During the original closing of our loan, we were told that we would not have a pre-payment penalty if we were to purchase a new property. The penalty would only occur if we refinanced the loan. Subsequently this loan was sold off to the company that denied us reimbursement of the penalty monies. As a last resort, I turned to Attorney Rosen and Pre-Paid Legal Services. It was a very bleak outcome that we were facing. Attorney Rosen offered to send a letter to the original closing company explaining to them that we were misrepresented in the closing of the mortgage. Much to our delight and surprise, the original mortgage company reimbursed to us the full $4300.
